Over a 23-year career, he has specialized in advertising, marketing strategies, brand management, and market research. He served as Research Director at Millward Brown, Vice President of Strategy and Planning at Grey Istanbul, and was a member of the Global Strategy Council at Grey Group Worldwide. He founded FutureBright Research and transformed it into FutureBright Group, which today operates across multiple countries, delivering insights and data services to more than 950 global and local brands. He is also the author of the book Unpredictables.

He began his career during his student years at a certified public accounting office, later working as a financial specialist at Vehbi Koç Foundation American Hospital (2008–2011) and as Finance Manager at Doğan Online (2011–2014). Since 2014, he has been with FutureBright Group, first as Finance Director and today serving as Group CFO responsible for all group companies. A licensed CPA (SMMM) since 2022, he brings extensive expertise in operational excellence, financial reporting, and cash flow management.

She holds a BA in Economics from Istanbul Bilgi University and an MSc in Marketing from UPF Barcelona School of Management. She began her career at the Behavior Institute under the FutureBright Group, progressing from Strategy Assistant to Strategy Specialist. After completing her graduate studies in 2024, she rejoined FutureBright Group in 2025. She currently serves as Senior Strategy Specialist at the Behavior Institute and Senior Social Impact Specialist at House of Impact. Her expertise spans behavioral economics, consumer psychology, strategic marketing, and brand positioning, with experience in developing strategies for financial technologies and social transformation projects.

Between 1989 and 2005, he held roles ranging from analyst to general manager at Emek Sigorta, Aktif Finans Faktoring, Ekspres Faktoring, Toprak Leasing, Toprak Sigorta, Toprak Hayat Sigorta, and Toprak Yatırım Bankası. During his executive career, he also served as a board member and chairman. From 2004 to 2018, he taught finance in the MBA program at Bilgi University. Since 2005, he has served as an independent board member and consultant for various companies. He is also the author of two published books.

He is Professor of Economics at Saint Mary’s University Sobey School of Business, where he has served as Sobey Professor since 2021 and Chair of the Department of Economics since 2023. While his expertise lies in econometrics, his research extends to machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on public policy and healthcare data analytics. He has served as a Scientific Affiliate at the Nova Scotia Health Innovation Hub and is a founding member of the Research Portal on Machine Learning for Social and Health Policies. He is the author of Machine Learning Toolbox for Social Scientists (2023) and Causal Inference & Machine Learning (2025). In addition, he is the Co-Founder of Novastorms AI, a company pioneering privacy-first AI-driven analytics solutions.

Editor-in-Chief, Harvard Business Review Türkiye

He began his journalism journey in middle school and, in 2000, co-founded Infomag Publishing to cover the convergence of technology and business in Turkey. Over the course of more than 23 years, he has managed diverse content formats at Bloomberg BusinessWeek Türkiye, Skylife, and Harvard Business Review Türkiye. Today, as Editor-in-Chief of HBR Türkiye, he leads the development of thought-leadership content for the business community. He has also completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School on disruptive innovation and sustainable business strategies.
